A Parisian design studio for young artists
OMY was founded in Paris in 2012 by two French graphic designers and illustrators, Elvire Laurent and Marie-Cerise Lichtlé. Their idea was to make art kids and grown-ups genuinely want to do together — starting with a giant colour-in poster covered in hundreds of hand-drawn details.
That "kidult" spirit runs through everything: colouring posters and rolls, ultra-washable markers and pencils, sticker and tattoo sets, puzzles and craft kits — all designed in the Paris studio and now enjoyed by families in 60+ countries.

What is OMY?
OMY is a French children's design brand specialising in arts, crafts and colouring. It is best known for giant colour-in posters, but our range also covers markers and crayons, pocket colouring kits, sticker and tattoo sets, kids' nail art, mini puzzles, a Montessori kit, 3D lamps and giant inflatable cushions.
What are the giant colouring posters?
They are oversized paper murals (around 70 x 100cm) covered in detailed, hand-drawn scenes. Unfold one on the floor, spread it on a table or tape it to a wall, then colour it in a little at a time. Each poster holds hours of screen-free play and works as a shared family or party activity.
What ages are OMY products for, and do kids need supervision?
Most OMY colouring posters and markers are designed for ages 3 and up. Some items — such as nail art, mini puzzles and small sticker or accessory pieces — contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 due to a choking hazard. Younger children enjoy these best with an adult helping, and we recommend supervising nail and tattoo sets. Always check the age guidance on each product page.
Do the OMY markers wash off?
OMY describes its felt-tip markers as ultra-washable, and they generally rinse off skin and most fabrics with soap and water. We still recommend an apron, a protected surface and a quick spot-test on any fabric before you begin, especially with very young children.
