Privacy Policy
We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) in both Malaysia and Singapore. We collect only what we need and never store children's names.
Children's data
Our baby tools (milestone tracker, growth chart, daily log, vaccination schedule, baby name finder) are designed to be used by the parent or legal guardian, not the child. We do not knowingly request or collect personally identifying information about children, including real names, school details, addresses, government IDs, or photos. We ask for a nickname for each baby so you can tell your babies apart within your own account — we do not need and do not store real names. Free-text fields (notes, comments) are stored privately on your own account; we encourage you to omit any identifying detail.
Parents/guardians are responsible for the data they choose to enter about their child. You may delete any baby profile, milestone, growth measurement, or log entry from your account at any time, which removes the data from active records (with retention only as required by Malaysian/Singaporean law and our Terms).
Community forum & IP addresses
When you post a topic or a reply in our community forum, we record the IP address your device used at that moment, along with the date and time. This applies to every contribution, including any you choose to post anonymously: posting anonymously hides your name from other members, but the IP address is still logged behind the scenes.
We collect this for one reason — to keep the community safe. It helps us investigate spam, scams, harassment, impersonation and other abuse, enforce our Terms, and, where we are legally obliged to, assist law-enforcement or regulatory authorities acting on a valid request.
Forum IP addresses are personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) and the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore). They are visible only to our administrators within the secure admin area — never shown publicly, never attached to your public profile, and never used for advertising or marketing. We retain them only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the moderation, safety and legal-compliance purposes described above, or for as long as the law requires.
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or request its deletion at any time — see Data deletion or contact us — subject to the legal retention requirements set out in this policy and our Terms.
Gift card video messages
When you buy a gift card, you may record or upload a short video message for the recipient. We host that video on our own servers and make it available only through a private, unguessable link that we email to the recipient — it is never listed publicly, never indexed by search engines, and never shown to anyone who does not hold that link.
Because a video is uploaded to our servers and delivered to another person, we keep a record of which account uploaded it and the IP address used, so we can act on any misuse. Videos are reviewed if reported, and our team may remove any video that breaches our Terms. We automatically delete each video message within 6 months of it being uploaded — sooner if the gift card is cancelled, or on a valid request. By uploading a video you confirm you have the right to share it and that it is appropriate for the recipient.
Cookies & advertising
Like most online stores, we use a small number of essential cookies to keep the site working — they remember your login, your shopping cart and your country/currency choice. These are required for the store to function and cannot be switched off.
We also keep anonymised statistics about how our pages are used (for example, which products are viewed most often). These are collected on our own servers, do not identify you personally, and are never shared with anyone else.
Advertising cookies are optional and off unless you allow them. With your consent, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — and may use similar measurement tools from Google — to measure our advertising and to show you more relevant Little Baby ads on those platforms, including products you have browsed here. When you place an order, we may also send the advertising platform a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email address or phone number so it can match the sale to the ad that led to it — your actual contact details are never shared in readable form.
You stay in control through the cookie banner shown on your first visit: choose Accept to allow advertising cookies or Decline to browse without them — the store works exactly the same either way. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, after which the banner will ask again. You can also manage ad personalisation directly in your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad preferences and Google ad settings.
