The bed that grows with them
The Sleepi Bed V3 is Stokke's iconic oval cot, crafted in beech from FSC certified forests. It starts as a newborn crib and keeps changing as your child grows, to about age five. The breathable mattress is sold separately.

Shaped for a sense of security
The soft oval shape resembles the womb, so your baby feels held rather than lost in a big bed. Edges are curved, with no sharp corners. Rods and a perforated mattress base keep air moving around your child all night. The frame is sturdy beech with a non-toxic finish, designed in 1999 by Susanne Grønlund and Claus Hviid Knudsen.
Four heights, and wheels that follow you
The base sets at four mattress heights. Keep it high for easy reach in the newborn months, then lower it as your baby sits and stands. Lockable swivel wheels keep the bed close to you, and a gentle push gives a rocking motion that helps settle sleep. The bed is narrow enough to roll through doorways.
Take the side off and keep going
When your child is ready, remove the side rails and the crib becomes an open toddler bed they can climb into themselves. The same oval bed then lasts to about age five. If you started with the Sleepi Mini, the separate Sleepi Bed Extension V3 converts the Mini into this full-size bed. The Sleepi Bed Mattress V3 is sold separately.

Is the mattress included? +
No. The bed comes with the frame and wheels. The breathable Stokke Sleepi Bed Mattress V3, 70 x 136 cm, is sold separately. Sleepi Bed mattresses made between 2003 and August 2022 are not compatible.
Which colours does the Sleepi Bed V3 come in? +
Natural, White, Hazy Grey and Warm Brown. Each is a beech frame with a non-toxic finish, and the wood comes from FSC certified forests.
How much space does it need? +
The assembled bed is 141 cm long, 74 cm wide and 84 cm high. It is narrow enough to move through doorways on its wheels.
How long will my child use it? +
From newborn to about age five. Start with the base at the highest of its four positions. Lower it as your baby grows. Then remove the side rails to make an open toddler bed.
Do the wheels lock? +
Yes. The swivel wheels are included and they lock. Unlocked, they let you roll the bed between rooms and give a gentle rocking motion to help settle your baby.
What is the Sleepi Bed Extension V3 for? +
It is a separate kit that converts the smaller Sleepi Mini into this full-size Sleepi Bed. With it, a Mini lasts to about age five. This bed is already the full size, so it does not need the extension.
