A seat for your newborn
Baby rests in a soft, reclined cradle raised near table height. That keeps them close during feeds and quiet moments. Use it from birth until your baby can sit up on their own, around 6 months or 9 kg.
Almost flat, then upright
Keep the seat almost flat for the first 8 to 10 weeks. Move it more upright as your baby grows stronger and wants to see the table. A built-in 5-point harness holds them at every angle. Always use the harness, and never leave your baby unattended.
Reversible, washable textile
The textile set is reversible, with a grey side and a sand side. Turn it to suit your room. The mattress and mesh wash in the machine at 40 degrees C. The breathable mesh helps keep your baby cool.
Three bases to match your chair
Every option uses the same reversible Grey Sand textile. Pick the base that matches your Nomi chair, then tap it to select.

Does this come with the Nomi chair? +
No. The Newborn Set is an accessory for the Stokke Nomi chair. You buy the chair separately, then the set clips onto the chair frame.
From what age can my baby use it? +
From birth. Keep the seat almost flat for the first 8 to 10 weeks. Use it until your baby can sit up unaided, around 6 months, or up to 9 kg.
Can I wash the fabric? +
Yes. The mattress and mesh are machine washable, warm, at a maximum of 40 degrees C. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean them.
Which colour should I choose? +
All three use the same reversible Grey Sand textile. Pick the base colour that matches your chair: White, Black or Grey. The seat is the same in every option.
What comes in the box? +
The Newborn Set frame, the reversible textile set, a breathable mesh textile and a 5-point harness. The Nomi chair is not included.
What happens when my baby outgrows it? +
Once your baby can sit up on their own, move to the Stokke Nomi Baby Set. That keeps your child at the table through the next stage.
