Turn the chair into a high chair
The Baby Set 2 adds a backrest and front rail to your Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair. Your baby gets back and side support and sits at your table height. Start once your baby can sit up without help, at around six months. The chair is sold separately.

No tools are needed. The Baby Set 2 fits European Tripp Trapp chairs made after May 2003, and comes off just as quickly when you want the plain chair back. A pair of Extended Gliders is in the box. Fit them to the back chair legs whenever the Baby Set is on, and stand the chair on a level, hard floor.

Centre the backrestRest it on the chair back and hook the rail on between the bars.

Rotate down until it clicksThe buckle snaps to the seat plate. You will hear a click when it locks.

Fit the gliders, then checkClip the Extended Gliders to the back legs. Give the set a firm check before every use.
Support now, a surface and a strap when you want them
The Baby Set 2 gives back and side support on its own and keeps your child from climbing out. It is not a strap, so never leave your child unattended. Add the Stokke Tray for a surface for food and toys. Add the Stokke Harness V2 if you also want to strap your child in. Both are sold separately, and the Baby Set 2 pairs with the Harness V2, not the older harness.
Choose your colour
The Baby Set 2 comes in the same finishes as the chair, so it can match or contrast. Tap a set to select it. Screens show colours a little differently.
When to start, and when to move on
The Tripp Trapp Newborn Set comes first, from birth, as a reclined seat. Move to the Baby Set 2 once your baby sits up unaided, at around six months. Take it off once your child can climb in and out and sit steadily. After that your child sits on the chair itself, which keeps adjusting into adult years.

From what age can we use the Baby Set 2? +
Start once your baby can sit up unaided, at around 6 months. Do not use it before your baby can sit without help. Use it up to 3 years, or a maximum weight of 15 kg.
Which chairs does it fit? +
It fits European version Tripp Trapp chairs made after May 2003. It attaches with no tools. The Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair is sold separately and is not included.
What is the difference between the Newborn Set and the Baby Set? +
The Tripp Trapp Newborn Set is a reclined seat from birth. The Baby Set 2 is for when your baby can sit up, from around 6 months. Both attach to the same Tripp Trapp Chair.
Is this the Baby Set 2, and does it work with the old harness? +
Yes, this is the Baby Set 2, the current version. It pairs with the Stokke Harness V2, not the older harness. The included gliders are the V2 generation.
Do I need the Tray or the Harness as well? +
No. The Baby Set 2 gives support on its own. Add the Stokke Tray for a surface, and the Stokke Harness V2 if you want to strap your child in. Both are sold separately.
How do I clean it? +
Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it off. There is no fabric, so nothing goes in the wash.
What happens when my child outgrows it? +
Take the Baby Set 2 off once your child can climb in and out and sit steadily. After that your child sits on the Tripp Trapp Chair itself, which keeps adjusting into adult years.
